THE CHARACTERS

Estryellia-Sorcerer-Newly come of age
Garu-Elf Ranger-One armed elf archer
Roscoe-Hobbit-Toughest hobbit in the world
Fione-Bard about town

The Shadow Dancer pulls away from the docks with most of the party aboard. They get settled into their cramped quarters and then meet the master of the ship, he’s Daniel Jarvis Avec. The son of Linda Avec (the Mad Paladin) on the ship is also his wife and child. Roscoe mentions that he and Ming will be getting off at Nile Cor but Daniel Jarvis says that the ship isn’t stopping there since the Second Kingdome’s would tax the ships cargo value just for stopping in port.

The ship continues to sail through the Inland Sea but instead of turning towards the sole outlet onto the greater ocean the ship enters the Phase Plane (similar to being ethereal) and then exits in one of the oceans. The part notices that the crew doesn’t seem in the least bit surprised by what happened. When they talk to Daniel Jarvis he tells them that this is one of the “advantages” the ship posses. He tells them they are now in one of the worlds 14 seas and on their way to the isle of the Aelopineanians, a cat like race where he has a cargo to drop off.

Arriving in the port a group of bipedal cats come aboard and begin to off load the cargo. Estryellia decides to go ashore. She finds that everywhere she goes the inhabitance take a great interest in her watching her every move like they would watch a mouse. She is encouraged by a local (human) to get back on the boat. Later she learns that some Aelopineanians hunt humans.

The ship weighs anchor and heads back into the deep sea. Several days later they come upon what at first is thought to be an island but as they get closer it turns out to be a city floating on the sea. The city is made of glass and steel. In the middle of it sit seven large pyramid like structures in a ring. Daniel tells them that it’s a Magadrillian Floating city. He tells them that it’s best to steer away from them because trading with the Magadrillins is tedious at best.

After a few days at sea the ship makes another “ocean leap” and then comes to the city of Sorroth. At Sorroth the ship puts into port and the party debarks. Estryella and the group are put up at a hotel while the cargo is sold and the money put in a bank. Roscoe encounters some of his family who come to meet him and invite him home. Everyone decides that this will best be done after some rest.
