Serrif is sick with the flu (player couldn’t make it to the game) and cannot be awoken leaving Scala in charge. Aki spends a good part of the day sitting in the river communing with her goddess, trying to get her to send some sharks to live in the river to make it hard for the Myotians to get across.

The second part of the Alt arrives and the Sub Alt Leader tells them that the rest of the Alt along with the Alt leader should arrive in the next couple of days and part of his job is the procure suitable housing for the Alt Leader a Kenna of Deserata

As evening approaches a group of dark things attack out of the woods. The creatures leap high into the air and then cut down the Altmen that were standing guard. In moments the creatures are upon them. Ulysses and Ember fight several to a standstill while Scala uses her magic to destroy some of the foul beasts. Estryellia tries to keep the creatures away from her. These are Thaug also known as Karieen’s Bane, the same things that Karieen fought in the netherworld. After a few minutes the all but one of the creatures are dead. The last one which did not attack seems to have been watching the combat and paying attention to the players actions. Before they can attack the creature it disappears into the woods.

After the bodies are thrown into a heap to be burned there hear cry’s from the soldiers at the river. Three large stone statures have been seen rolling on their own power from the direction of the Myotians.
