Current Story

Morgan and Paladin Marcus wake up one morning to find that thirty years have gone by. In that time an evil presence has taken over the throne and the church of Chaldisaya has fallen from its high position. Although they have no memories of the past thirty years they’re lives have continued. In that time Morgan has married and had two children (one of whom is married to Marcus). Marcus is the last of the Paladins of Chaldisaya. The force that has taken over the city is a creature pretending to be the granddaughter of Sylvia I, Distaria the First. The players have vowed to restore the rightful heir a 15-year-old paladin named Jun.
The group has had some success thwarting the evil designs of Distaria I, they have set up a rebel government on the southern continent (Sadakadish). They are currently scouting the borders of Deserata to gather intelligence.

The Current Characters

Marcus Human/Paladin
Marcus is also the last Paladin of the Chaldite faith. His wife is a prisoner of Queen Distaria.

Akai Human Priest/Rogue
Akai is from another world but has strange visions about events that happened thousands of years ago on Avalyn. In her visions she is the daughter of the wizard who tried to destroy the world. Currently she has become a priestess of Marcia (the shark goddess).

Morgan Priestess of Chaldisaya Human/Priestess
Morgan is one of the last priestesses of the Chaldite religion. She is trying to put the son of the former Jkennis (Queen) on the throne.

Van Scala Human/Sor
Scalla is from another world, she has had her regular body destroyed by the evil queen. She now inhabits the body of a female Manthootian (specialty race from my world).

Serif Human/Fighter
Serrif is also from another world. Before coming to Avalyn Serrif had wings, we don’t know what happened to them. At one time she was under the control of the evil queen, currently he has an "evil" twin running around that seems to precede him where ever he's going.

Additional Characters

Estryelia Human/Sor
Estryellia is young girl who has just been released from guild training (she left early to go on a couple of adventures without her mother’s knowledge). Her mother is Novate Arc Morgan.

Kebridane Human/Wiz
Kebridane is the oldest PC in the current game. He's the scribe of the party and usually knows where they are on the map.

Important NPC’s

Van Sheree (Lady Sheree)
Van Sheree is the commander of the “Companions of Chaldisaya”. The companions are sort like paladins but without any powers. The Companions form the cornerstone of the PC’s army in exile.
Van Sheree had hinted about a liaison with Paladin Marcus (of course Paladin Marcus can’t remember it) but otherwise seemed loyal to the cause. About 1 year ago game time Van Sheree disappeared after a botched coup in the PC’s forces. It was assumed that she was killed and the killers stole her body.

Jkennis Arion Junico Sailon
Jun is the true ruler of Deserata. He was hidden away from many years. Now with the PC’s help he is pressing his claim to the throne. Arion is a 15 year old former paladin of Chaldisaya. His wife Van (Lady) Kidda recently died producing an heir.

Currently

The part is on their way to Stephens Hold a city on the border with Deserata. The city is of interest because two claimants to the throne of Deserata rule it and they haven’t been invaded by Deserata.
